Jen Clinton started Saltwater Palette in 2017 as a creative interpretation of her love for the New England beaches she grew up exploring.

Jen is a self-taught artist, and works in watercolors for their flexibility and atmospheric nature.
Her full-time career as an environmental economist winds its way into her watercolors - especially the fragility of coastal ecosystems and Cape Cod's rich ecological history. Painting is her way of translating her love for home onto paper, and challenging herself to explore the world around her.
